Kids Roar Operational Change
In the past, kids were able to join by purchasing stock in Kids Roar. However, the barrier of money and the time commitment made it hard for many kids to join.
Now, instead of having kids be owners, they will be advisors. We will still have quarterly meetings and they can still help decide on things and run the company, but it will be easier. Each kid must get a sponsor. A sponsor is a company that will pay $5,000 for one year. The company will get to be on our website and in our promotional material, as well as have a sign up at our events and be able to come and speak to the board of advisors once a year if they want.
If a company wants to be exclusive in their category, they can pay an extra $1,000 and we will not allow their 10 biggest competitors to sponsor Kids Roar that year.
Companies can decide to sponsor kids roar and then name a kid to the advisory board that is between the ages of 8 and 12. It is good for one year and can be renewed.
Kids that want to be advisors can email us and ask for information they can print out and give to companies when they ask them to sponsor them. Companies that want to sponsor Kids Roar can email us and we will send the form for sponsorship.
All sponsorship money will go into the business and be completely controlled by Alexandra McDaniel and the Kids Roar Board of Advisors. The money must be spent to grow the business, but yearly profits may be paid out to advisors in the form of scholarships and bonuses.
All financials and company information will be posted on the website so that sponsors may see how the money is being spent and so kids can learn more about having their own business.
